From artist Jenny Berry's original Old Dutch and Flemish Master's style oil painting, a Goldfinch bird playing a lute who has most likely hit the liquor store outside before he came in for open mic night with his lute. Why not? Yellow is not his color but why has no one ever told him? Was he even sober when he dressed this morning? I'm pretty sure we're glad we can't hear him playing because he's probably pretty loud and maybe a bit off key. Which is odd for a Goldfinch but he's trying to drown out the karaoke machine and that's not easy because it's playing Hall & Oates and half the room is mumbling along - all the wrong words. No one actually knows the words (possibly not even Hall and defininitely not Oates). Something something man eater. Goldfinch sings louder.
