PAINTING PETS & PEOPLE WORKSHOP

If you've ever taken a class at North Port Art Center I don't need to say another word, you get it. This is a great group of people.

I taught there for years and there were times we'd pack that room with nearly 20 people. It was more fun than an art class has any right to be.

Now that I'm living in Sarasota I can't get down there as much, so I'm pretty excited to be teaching this workshop every Wednesday afternoon for the month of February. Please join us!

DESCRIPTION

This class will focus on improving your portrait painting skills. Whether you're interested in painting pets or people, it draws on the same skill set. We'll start with the fundamentals and move through to finer points of color mixing for skin tones and brushwork for fur and clothing texture, and maybe most importantly in portraiture, how to get a good likeness.
